• Utilizes government issued credentials like driver license, military ID or other trusted credentials to capture and store data about the visitor
• The optical scanner quickly scans the credential to capture desired fields and images from the credential
• Name, address and other data including the visitor photo if desired can be captured and stored in the electronic visitor log along with a time stamp to indicate arrival time
• Or a 2D bar code reader can be used to capture data from the 2D bar code on most current driver licenses
• A visitor nametag is quickly printed for the visitor to wear during the visit.  The visitor photo can also be printed on the nametag if desired.
• The visitor returns the nametag when departing and a bar coded visitor ID can be scanned to record the end of the visit and time stamp
• All visitor activity is saved in the electronic visitor log for easy retrieval at any future date
